- *What you’ll be doing:**
- Providing advice on product safety matters to project and engineering managers delivering the programmes and ensuring the safety considerations are correctly considered and implemented
- Engaging with third parties, to review and gather supporting safety case evidence
- Developing safety arguments, both physical and functional, using appropriate safety analysis methods, producing and updating safety case and safety management documentation using appropriate regulations and standards
- Line managing other safety practitioners
- *Your skills and experiences:**
Essential:- Safety engineering processes, practices and tools
- Clear understanding of safety engineering & assurance principals
- Experience and qualified engineers from other disciplines who display the correct behaviours and have an understanding of safety engineering, will actively be considered for this role
Desirable:- Good communication skills and ability to interact and manage stakeholders

This will include developing an understanding ofnew technologies and sensor systems used to support the safety arguments.
