What the role involves

• Provide technical leadership and guidance on hydraulic and mechanical system design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Review, and approve engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, and technical documentation.
• Work with external consultants and in-house technicians to maintain and improve control systems.
• Overseeing the design, maintenance, and performance of hydraulic systems (Hydraulic Power Units, subsea excavation equipment, cable-grab and cutting equipment, control systems).
• Leading root cause analysis and corrective action processes for equipment failures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and pressure testing requirements.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
