Purpose of the role: This initiative is part of our Firewall Governance (ACR) replacement programme, focusing on requirements, architecture, design, use cases, vendor selection, and the security posture of the solution. The selected vendor will play a critical role in enhancing our network security framework. Key responsibilities Extensive experience in the design, migration, and utilisation of Firewall Governance platforms with a high emphasis on security posture and enablement. Ensure architecture and subsequent designs (HLD and LLD) are well vetted. Utilize agile methodologies. Understanding of technology risk concepts, including controls and control frameworks, technology risk domains, risk measurements, and methodologies in line with TDI technology risk management but specific to the business of operation DB's global network in a global consistent way. Analyze and manage the impact and dependencies of new controls to other functions. Make the necessary support transparent to senior management for their prioritization and support. Provide technology expertise and thought leadership with an emphasis on network security. Participate in the Firewall Governance (ACR) Replacement Project Working Group as Network Security SME and provide your expertise, share perspectives, and contribute to decision-making and project success. Identify, analyze, and document the various use cases that will be crucial in the Firewall Governance Tool implementation. Develop clear and actionable guidelines for implementing the network security measures described in the use cases. Collaborate with POC team to ensure that use cases are effectively tested. Produce an actionable roadmap to achieve future target architecture covering changes in people, process, and technology. Recommendation on changes in the policy, procedure, and process. Create detailed and comprehensive documentation outlining each use case including specific security challenges, proposals, and outcomes. Implementation roadmap to integrate various initiatives with long-term Firewall Governance Objectives. Produce an estimated budgetary and resource requirement. Skills and Qualifications Strong background in Firewall Governance. Experience in risk assessment, interpretation, analytical and negotiation skills. Hands-on person, great in communicating and documentation, super strong network engineering and agile-driven mindset.
