Lead Infrastructure Engineer Lead Forensics is a leading SAAS company with products in the B2B Sales and Marketing space. We’re seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate the infrastructure which delivers our services to customers. About the role You’ll be working closely with our software development teams and reporting into our chief technology officer to ensure that our hosting platform achieves the required performance, reliability, and cost targets.

This is a hands-on role that requires wide-ranging expertise with scalable cloud architectures, physical infrastructure and networks, operating systems, and security. The role can be remote-first with no fixed time in the office required;

however, we operate

physical infrastructure in the Portsmouth area, so candidates will need to be located within reasonable travel time of our hosting locations. We’re looking for an enthusiastic technologist who loves getting their hands dirty, making things better, and being the master of their own domain. Snapshot of technologies we use: Azure and AWS, Docker, Linux, Windows Server and IIS, MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Dell PowerEdge, Cisco, Nagios, Cloudflare. What we’re looking for: Extensive experience in engineering, monitoring, and supporting a complex hybrid cloud infrastructure environment. Exposure to infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines. Good knowledge of operating systems and networks, covering both the Windows and Linux ecosystems. Experience of working with commercially focused software engineering teams using Agile/DevOps practices. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Scripting/programming experience. Exposure to ISO27001 or other security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS). Some experience of team leadership or management desirable.
