To lead and provide support to operational and corporate teams to enable them to interpret the available data to enable judgement on actual performance and the ability to deliver operational plans using statistical analysis where appropriate. To provide detailed analysis in order to model demand, resources and throughput to ensure appropriate balance of provision and to identify variances between supply and demand to facilitate discussions of service change, provision or development. To lead the analytical work within services to assess capacity and demand for each clinical service, identifying areas of service pressure, undertaking gap analysis and support the production of option appraisals. To work alongside the other corporate functions including HR, Finance and Quality to investigate and respond appropriately to queries from internal and external sources in relation to operational and strategic reporting at all levels of the organisation.
