Their cutting-edge solution tackles the complexities of real-time data processing from modern vehicles. As they continue to expand, they are now seeking a Lead Java Engineer to join their team focused on data ingestion and integration. In this pivotal role, you‘ll play a key part in driving architectural decisions, shaping product strategy, and building new services from the ground up. You will work with technologies like Java, AWS, Kafka, and Micronaut, while also leading and mentoring a team of engineers. Key Responsibilities: Lead and guide a team of engineers in developing solutions compatible with global vehicle manufacturers. Architect, design, and implement new services to enhance data ingestion and third-party integrations. Provide technical leadership and steer project direction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in vehicle diagnostics. Key Requirements: 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong focus on Java. Proven experience in leading teams, conducting 1-2-1s, setting KPIs, and managerial tasks. Expertise in Kafka, Kafka Streams, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Benefits: Salary : £95K plus up to 20% bonus. Work Flexibility : Fully remote with monthly visits to the office.
