Lead a team of shift engineers to ensure optimal plant operation and maximize plant availability. Manage Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), including reviewing and adjusting schedules for relevance, criticality, and timely completion. Analyse and report CMMS data to drive continuous improvement and enhance equipment reliability. Maintain accurate records within the site maintenance system. Perform root cause analysis to address operational issues and improve plant performance. Oversee equipment calibration to ensure compliance with operational standards. Support the delivery of CAPEX projects to enhance plant infrastructure and performance. Manage external contractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution. Ideal Candidate:

A time-served Multi-Skilled Engineer qualification, with an HNC, HND, or equivalent. Expertise in working within classified hazardous areas and with ATEX equipment, with a CompEx Ex 05 - 06 or equivalent certification being a distinct advantage. Experience in manufacturing environments, particularly with automated raw material feed systems, auto weighing, bagging lines, LEV, packaging, and palletising equipment. A high level of competency with PLCs, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. A 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certificate (preferred). Previous training in Fabrication, Welding, FLT, IPAF, PASMA, IOSH, WAH, NEBOSH, confined space, and abrasive wheels. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency. Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team and manage external contractors.
