We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to spearhead the integration and implementation of Mambu's core banking platform, with a particular focus on Savings products. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Mambus architecture and APIs, coupled with a strong background in financial services, product engineering, and leading technical teams. Location: Hybrid, London UK Key Responsibilities: Lead Integration Projects: Oversee the end-to-end integration of Mambus core banking platform into our systems, with a primary focus on Savings products. Architect Solutions: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions that align with business goals and regulatory requirements. Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and agile development. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Operations, and Compliance, to ensure the successful deployment of Mambu solutions. Customization: Develop custom components, extensions, and APIs to enhance Mambu's Savings products to meet specific business needs. Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Mambu integration, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption. Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality of deliverables through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to industry standards. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, processes, and configurations. Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with Mambu's latest features, updates, and industry trends to leverage new functionalities and ensure optimal integration. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in integrating or implementing Mambu, specifically focusing on Savings products. Proven experience in leading engineering teams and delivering complex integration projects in the financial services sector. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as .Net, Python, or Node.js. Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure). Hands-on experience with Mambu APIs and customization of Mambus core banking modules. Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of banking products, particularly Savings, and how they are structured and managed within Mambu. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and collaborate with non-technical stakeholders. Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering efficient and effective solutions. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in other core banking platforms or financial services systems. Certification in Mambu or relevant financial technology platforms. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the banking/financial services industry.
