What you'll be doing As Lead MRI/Deputy Diagnostic Imaging Manager, you will be supported by our experienced Diagnostic Imaging Manager and Clinical Services and our Practice Plus Group Diagnostic Imaging Lead. You will be responsible for managing the radiology department. This will include ensuring the provision of a high quality, safe and cost effective service. You will take responsibility for clinical and professional standards, staffing and governance as well as developing relationships with neighbouring acute NHS trusts and CCG’s. Your leadership and clinical skills will help you to provide support and encourage all staff working in the radiology department. We encourage sharing of best practice across our site to develop your skills and take advantage of our excellent clinical leadership knowledge. The shift pattern reflects the needs of the business and will be flexible as required to manage the demand. A standard week would be working 4 days on a 9.5hr day after breaks. What we’ll look for in you As an experienced HCPC registered Radiographer coming from the NHS or a private hospital, you will have experience of working in a supervisory or lead role. You will bring with you a broad knowledge of techniques for all radiological modalities including x-ray, theatre radiography and MRI. You will also have experience of analysing x-ray images and be able to recognise abnormalities. Should you have any questions, please contact Kerry.Mills@practiceplusgroup.com.
