A UK consultancy is looking for a remote UK-based penetration tester to join them as they seek to grow their offensive security offering, building upon the success of their defensive security team over the past year. They’re looking for someone who has industry experience and can help mentor some of the more junior members of their team. This is still very much a hands-on role and would be best suited to someone who is an all-round tester with good knowledge of web apps, as that is where they get the lion’s share of their work.
They’re probably one of the few firms that are big on learning, not just by providing research time as part of your week but also easy access to SANS courses. If you want access to some of the higher-end courses, you can have it here.
Requirements
Previous commercial pen testing experience on infrastructure and web apps. Certifications like CREST CRT, CCT, OSCP, etc. are a nice to have but not obligatory. You must be eligible for UK SC; holding it or DV already is a huge bonus.
