Our client, a growing engineering company, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead People Partner to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leadership to drive the people strategy across the business and support their teams in a rapidly evolving and innovative environment. Lead People Partner - About The Role Key Responsibilities: Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement people strategies that support the overall business objectives. Lead and mentor a small HR team, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service across the business. Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organisational development. Support talent acquisition efforts by collaborating with hiring managers to attract and retain top engineering talent. Drive initiatives focused on employee engagement, development, and retention. Champion a positive and inclusive culture, fostering an environment where employees thrive. Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters and provide support to line managers. Oversee workforce planning and assist with succession planning and career development programs. Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices. Regularly visit various locations to support teams and attend site meetings as required (driving required). The successful Lead People Partner will have: Proven experience in a People Partner or HR leadership role, preferably within the engineering or technical sectors. Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and people management processes. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills. Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in leading and driving HR projects and initiatives. Proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to handle complex situations with diplomacy and tact. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to different sites as required.
