We are seeking a Lead Performance Architect to lead and drive performance testing efforts across critical projects, ensuring optimal system performance and quality assurance. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and select performance testing tools to meet the strategic objectives of our programs. This role is pivotal in shaping the performance testing strategy and driving the execution of performance tests to ensure system robustness and scalability. Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time. If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service). Your role

Design, implement, and lead performance testing strategies for large-scale IT systems. Develop Performance Test Plans that align with Non-Functional Performance Requirements (NFRs) and define execution schedules (e.g., smoke, E2E performance tests). Engage with key stakeholders, including architects, platform teams, business analysts, suppliers, and QA teams, to define and validate NFRs. Foster effective communication and collaboration across teams to ensure alignment with project objectives. Lead the selection and implementation of performance testing tools, ensuring they align with project requirements and industry best practices. Oversee the development and execution of performance test scripts, workflows, and data management processes. Drive the transition of performance environments from manual/functional test teams to dedicated performance teams. Provide technical expertise in client-server architecture and system performance. Guide teams in the use of performance tools such as LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, NeoLoad, or other relevant tools. Collaborate with the platform team to create effective test environments and workflows that reflect agreed NFRs. Ensure quality assurance of performance testing activities, including compliance with government and NHS standards. Provide regular performance test reports and insights to stakeholders to guide decision-making. Manage supplier relationships to ensure alignment with performance testing goals and objectives. Drive program-level performance testing initiatives and timelines to support project success. You can bring your whole self to work. At Capgemini equity, diversity and inclusion is part of everyday life, and will be part of your working reality. We have built an inclusive and welcoming environment, for everyone.
