Lead Performance Development Engineer – Stability and Motion Control Systems

to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to our

Development Manager – Vehicle Performance , you will be a key Development Team member and lead the development and calibration of Stability Control, Motion Systems, and Brakes across multiple programmes. This role will work closely with Function and Attribute teams in Brakes Modulation, Vehicle Dynamics, and Vehicle Performance to ensure the most efficient development plan is in place to deliver functional and attribute performance of the various dynamic control systems. This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our offices near Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field. Work cross-functionally with the Vehicle Dynamics, Brakes, and PED teams to deliver vehicle level attributes defined by the Vehicle Performance team. Help coordinate multiple software calibrations across multiple ECUs relevant to Brakes, Stability, and Motion Control Systems. Help to integrate software and hardware functions at a vehicle level, and support the release of software calibrations at critical build phases. Understand how Attribute and System tests fit within the overall attribute validation process. Deliver a robust Engineering DVP. Who you are

Broad experience in Vehicle Development – ideally in Stability and/or Motion Control Systems. Degree in Engineering or similar. Experience using data acquisition and instrumentation systems. Stability Control and Motion Control System calibration experience. High proficiency of driving ability (e.g., limit handling and low Mu driving). Experience testing at proving grounds. About Us
