Duration: 6 months +

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Piping Designer for an exciting 6-8 month FEED project within the oil and gas industry, UK based.

Key Responsibilities:

Producing drawings, specifications, BOMs, 3D models, datasheets, sketches. Checking other engineers/designers and suppliers work. Knowledge of fabrication and machining processes. Accountable for logging and controlling the piping design. Interpreting client requirements into project deliverables. Ability to create and respond to technical queries. 3D modelling & design activities of piping systems & supports. Prepare & check materials take-offs and bill of materials. Technical input during pricing and detailed engineering of projects. Construction work packs and certification documentation. Development of equipment package designs. Ability to liaise with other disciplines in the design team.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Lead Piping Designer in a relevant industry. Proficiency in 3D modelling and design software. Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and support design. Familiarity with fabrication and machining processes. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines. AVEVA - E3D software; minimum 6 months experience.
