Accountable for infrastructure management and upgrades, including but not limited to performance, capacity management, adherence to SLA’s, platform/kernel upgrades, Connect installations, and hotfixes to deliver improved capabilities of the platform(s). Accountable for platform operations, system health, monitoring, incident resolution to best practice standard and to deliver the availability and security of the Infinigate platforms in line with agreed SLA’s. Optimization of the platform(s), including but not limited to cost management, Azure spend, architectural recommendations and future-proofing. Actively identify problems and performance trends, escalating where appropriate or proposing solutions and continuous improvement ideas to improve efficiencies and user experience. Supporting the Product Operations in plan creation and design for CloudBlue Commerce and its subsequent versions to help enable the Teams to deliver functioning and saleable services/offers. Support, design and plan the expansion and growth into a microservices architecture to enable performance, security and scalability. Accountable for the effective delivery of defined changes within the scope of the role within the Platform Team. Proactively work with the wider teams across the business to ensure successful triage and resolution against Incidents. Support the development and enablement of your co-workers in team related tasks. Actively work with relevant vendors of products in triage against Incidents and deployments. Establish and manage project timelines including escalations, deployments, and new products/services within the required deadlines and schedules. Contribution and active participation in the technical teams of Infinigate, helping to shape technical direction, strategy and culture. Line management responsibilities for 2 direct reports. General Skills
3+ years’ experience in cloud platform delivery. Awareness of CloudBlue technology stack. A deep understanding and knowledge of cloud computing and the key drivers of commercial success. Strong leadership skills, with an aptitude to lead by example. Able to nurture strong business relationships, to meet and exceed customer expectations. Strong verbal, written and numerical skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Ability to work in a structured way and engage with multiple stakeholders to resolve issues.
