Your Role as Lead Practitioner of Science:

As Lead Practitioner, you will work closely with SLT and the Science department to deliver outstanding teaching and drive curriculum improvements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Teaching Science across KS3-KS5, with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics Coaching and mentoring teachers to improve science teaching and learning Leading STEM-focused extracurricular activities and outreach projects Developing practical-based teaching strategies to enhance student engagement Supporting curriculum development and GCSE & A-Level performance

A qualified Science teacher (QTS) with significant KS3-KS5 teaching experience Strong leadership skills and a passion for mentoring and professional development A commitment to STEM innovation and real-world science applications A proven track record of raising student achievement in Science
