Our client is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer - Marine Structures to join their London-based team.

Your Role As a Lead Civil Engineer specializing in marine structures, you will:

Deliver Technical Excellence:

Design structures for a maritime environment as part of a collaborative team. Lead Projects:

Manage marine engineering projects from tender stages through to detailed design. Oversee Technical & Commercial Aspects:

Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard. Engage with Clients:

Act as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong relationships.

About You Our client is looking for someone with: Marine Expertise:

Extensive experience designing and assessing marine structures, including jetties, quays, wharves, and cofferdams. Sound Decision-Making:

The ability to make informed engineering decisions quickly and collaboratively. Technical Prowess:

A strong technical background with a hands-on, proactive approach to project responsibility.

Key Skills & Qualifications Educational Excellence:

BEng/MEng (Hons) or equivalent technical training from a top university. Proven Experience:

Successful track record in UK marine projects, particularly structural design. Regulatory Knowledge:

Familiarity with CDM regulations and Quality Management Systems. Geotechnical Understanding:

Solid knowledge of geotechnical principles. Leadership Skills:

Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage teams effectively.
