PBS (Semco UK) are looking for a Lead Process Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. Details/duties: This role is overall responsible for process engineering, whether performed in house or by external Consultants. Proactive management of the Interface to client Process Lead or Technical Authority (or equivalent) is key to the role, ensuring the compliance of all outputs with relevant industry standards and Company design practices specifications and standards. Maintain relationships with Consultants for provision of engineering services, and management of specialist E&I/HVAC engineering software requirements Refer to our client’s technical documents to realise studies Suggest process discipline engineering and procurement deliverables for in housework for studies and RFM projects Implement Work packs including job risk assessments, certification, and job card estimates, for all classes of RFM Escalate project solution concerning his discipline regarding Quality assurance Preparation of discipline engineering manhour estimates, and review of estimates developed by Engineering Consultants Facilitating process and hazard safety and design reviews e.g., HAZOP/HAZARD studies Reports hierarchically to: Head of Projects and Engineering Qualifications/Experience required: Proven work experience in a similar position within the Oil & Gas industry Level / Diploma: Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Honours or above), Professional / Chartered Engineer Languages: English Training / Certification: Required training to go offshore (if necessary) Excellent Technical HSE awareness Brownfield Engineering for Plant Modifications Strong proficiency in process engineering design Strong interpersonal, communication skills both verbally and written whilst building/maintaining relationships
