Role and Purpose: As the Lead Producer in Games Development, you will be a key figure responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of our game development projects. You will play a central role in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring that games are developed within scope, on schedule, and with the highest level of quality. Your leadership, project management expertise, and strong understanding of the gaming industry will be essential in driving our game development process and achieving successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Create and manage the entire production process from pre-production to release, utilising Agile practices, whilst maintaining a solid and well documented production process. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps, schedules and risk documents and ensure contingency plans are in place for all milestones, deliverables and sprints. Manage productions time on project and delegate tasks and processes as required, to ensure all project milestones and deliverables are met on time. Setup and maintain the task / bug tracking database to a high degree of quality. Setup a future proof sprint structure which is well documented and has representative dashboards available for all team members and stakeholders to review progress. Conduct regular meetings with Leads to ensure the team are aligned and hold them accountable for delivery. Ensure the project is kept as the highest priority and quality delivery is the top of each team members mind and ensure the game meets the highest quality standards. Work with the Executive Producer to ensure product vision aligns with production goals. Work with Senior production to ensure teams are continuously delivering and advise on team improvements. Act as the primary point of contact between the team and the stakeholders. Work with the Executive producer on how this is best structured and delivered. Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to senior management and stakeholders. Prepare and present project updates, milestones and reports weekly reports. Implement best practices for maintaining quality, reporting on quality and supporting QA and working closely with QA teams to identify and resolve issues. Ensure design are supported with sufficient playtests; setup, run and note taken by production. Ensure bug queries can be exported from our database for quick access to understand current quality bar. This can be done utilising queries and dashboards, run by production. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Communicate these clearly to the stakeholders. Proactively address production challenges and roadblocks. Responsible for the growth and development of all producers on project, at all skill levels and holding them accountable for delivery. Requirements: Minimum of 6 years of experience in game development, 2 years experience in a leadership role on AAA titles, and at least 2 shipped AAA titles as Senior or equivalent. Experience in fostering a collaborative and creative work environment. Track record of conducting regular meetings with Leads to ensure the team are aligned. Strong understanding of game development processes, methodologies, and best practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards project success. Proficiency in project management tools, software, and techniques. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to risk management and issue resolution. Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry’s trends and dynamics.
