Job Description Scopely is looking for a Lead External Development Producer for our unannounced cross platform midcore project in Barcelona on a hybrid basis. We can support with visa sponsorship and relocation assistance.

We are in the early stages of development on an ambitious, unannounced, cross-platform Strategy/MMO title, creating a team of talented and passionate game makers to join us on this exciting journey!

What You’ll Do

Supporting our midcore project, you will coordinate the successful development collaboration with our external partners. You will be working towards a deep integration of the external partners into the team structure and be responsible for significant areas of the game.

Lead and manage the external development relationships with studio partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration

Ensure creative alignment between the internal and external co-development teams

Establish and improve production processes and standard methodologies for working with external teams

Work closely with internal stakeholders such as game designers, artists, quality assurance and engineers to align project objectives and creative vision with external capabilities

Conduct regular check-ins and reviews with external partners to monitor progress, address challenges, and adjust plans as required

Ensure the timely delivery of milestones and manage scope changes effectively

Stay informed of new trends and technologies in the gaming industry to potentially incorporate into project workflows

What We’re Looking For

Minimum of 7 years of experience in game production, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing external development

Passion for mobile games

Strong project management skills and experience with project management tools and methodologies

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced, international environment

Deep understanding of the mobile gaming market and the game development life cycle

Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies

Experience with budget management and cost forecasting
