We’re seeking a dynamic

Lead Project Manager

to coordinate and deliver our statutory Water Resources WINEP commitments. This is a pivotal role, ensuring seamless collaboration across internal teams, stakeholders, and regulators to achieve successful outcomes. As the Lead Project Manager, you’ll work with cross-functional teams to oversee the delivery of our AMP8 WINEP programme. Reporting to the Asset Strategy Lead, your responsibilities include:

Defining and executing the best strategy to deliver statutory requirements while maximising value for money. Managing risks and opportunities across all project stages to ensure seamless delivery. Acting as a business partner to multiple departments, fostering collaboration to meet programme objectives. Coordinating with the EA and other regulators, providing progress updates and seeking technical approvals. Overseeing contract and commercial management of consultants to maintain momentum on project delivery.

Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our projects. You will be responsible for achieving deliverables on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. This includes effectively managing all aspects of program delivery to meet objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

We’re looking for an individual with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a strong background in project delivery. This role requires someone who can perform effectively under pressure while driving results in a complex and fast-paced environment.

You’ll need to have significant experience managing complex programmes with multiple stakeholders, coupled with the ability to identify risks, implement effective solutions, and influence outcomes across diverse teams.

Excellent communication skills are essential, as you’ll be building strong relationships with regulators and internal teams to achieve programme objectives. In addition, a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and risk management principles is vital for success in this role.
