Lead Occupational Therapist - Reablement Team Are you a positive person who can provide leadership for our reablement occupational therapy team? Do you have strong legal literacy to support your clinical decision-making? Can you inspire the workforce by highlighting opportunities and fostering teamwork to find innovative solutions? If so, we need you on our team! Our reablement team works with individuals to enhance their ability to care for themselves following illness or injury, helping them rebuild the skills and confidence needed to live as independently as possible. The service includes occupational therapy, community support workers, and the hospital discharge social work team. We collaborate closely with colleagues and partners in health and the voluntary sector to ensure an integrated and collaborative approach that supports people both at home and in the community. You will need to be an experienced HCPC registered Occupational Therapist ideally with knowledge of health and social care occupational therapy services and leadership. Key Responsibilities: Provide reablement occupational therapy services with skills in therapy, the provision of moving and handling solutions, equipment and adaptations provisions. Provide leadership and direction to the reablement occupational therapy team. Support the manager in running, governance and development of the Disability Resource Team service. Support the service in meeting their statutory duties under the Care Act and Care Quality Commission standards. Be able to travel across the county of East Riding to provide services, have a valid driving license, use of a car with business insurance is required. Workforce recruitment and retention.
