Lead React Front End Software Engineer Lead React Front End Software Engineer required by a Fintech success story. Working remotely (anywhere within the UK) and happy to get together once a month for engineering brainstorming in London, this is a fantastic opportunity to be the hands-on lead for everything front end and React. The package includes 30 days holiday (plus bank holidays), 10% pension, bonus, private medical, and much more. As an experienced React Front End Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and developing high-quality React applications. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design software architectures, and implement software features. Additionally, you will create and enhance high-quality React-based web interfaces and our React Native mobile app, which are used by an ever-increasing number of people in the UK. This role is ideal for a software engineering enthusiast rather than someone who just wishes to develop websites. Engineering will look to you (and the team) to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards. You will also develop and maintain software testing suites, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests. Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability is also essential. Strong programming skills in React and experience leading a team of around 4-6 engineers with a deep understanding of adding features and idioms are required. Experience working on mobile apps is advantageous, along with a rounded knowledge of software engineering principles and practices, such as design patterns, code organization, and testing strategies.
