Lead React.JS Engineer (Microservices, Kubernetes, Azure AKS)

Revolutionary UK leading platform Fully Remote. If you thrive on creating robust and highly scalable user interfaces using React.js, this really is a product you want to be working on. This is your chance to truly take the reins of front-end engineering and UX/UI processes on a one-of-a-kind, data-driven product that has disrupted its industry. They're a young and ambitious firm who have built and shipped an incredibly successful white-label platform that is now used by over 500 customers. As Lead React Engineer, you will bring the perfect blend of technical React.JS exposure and strong design skills, with the ability to create visually appealing user experiences. You will be accountable for defining code standards, best practices, and performance. You'll be a seasoned engineer who can provide mentoring to the team of React developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure high-quality code is written. You will also own architecture and lead the implementation of the React Application, bringing the ability to build modular and scalable components in React and contribute to UI/UX best practices. Now let's talk tech. Their highly scalable product is built mainly around the NodeJS ecosystem on the back-end, which is the foundation of their applications. It's well-geared for websites with the React framework on the front-end, all on the Azure platform. Essentially, you'll be a JavaScript guru (ES6+) and understand component-based architecture. Knowledge of how to work on single-page application development is key, and you'll have a strong understanding of state management (Hooks). Why join? My client embodies the principles of what makes a truly wonderful business. Their ethos? Build with a test-first approach, release early, and release often. They do not compromise on quality and take it very seriously. They place a huge emphasis on delivery, so it’s critical we find someone who shares and owns this mindset. You will join a super talented team with a mixture of Front and Back-End enthusiasts and benefit from working remotely. Up to £75k but can be flexible if you're ticking all the boxes. Interested? Apply now for immediate consideration!
