Lead Scrum Master

to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating and guiding the team’s delivery of improvements, ensuring they are focused and able to deliver the highest value priorities for The AA and our customers. You will coach and guide the team to identify, establish, and evolve agile ways of working to build and maintain a high-performing team. What will I be doing?

Facilitate team events with clear purposes and outcomes, and support regular planning activities. Foster effective collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders, building a supportive culture and safe environment. Ensure the team is working towards and achieving their goals, and hold them accountable throughout the delivery lifecycle. Promote transparent ways of working and visualise work within the team’s space to aid effective delivery. Coach the team and individuals on agile values, principles, and practices, focusing on continuous improvement. Champion cross-team transparency, own and facilitate the Scrum of Scrums, and participate in the Agile Community of Practice. What do I need?

Proven demonstrable experience as a Scrum Master in a digital product-focused environment, working with multi-function and multi-location teams. Line management skills and experience with the strong ability of coaching/mentoring junior team members, sharing knowledge and upskilling teams. Strong skills in coaching, servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, and Agile techniques (including XP, Kanban, and LeSS). Knowledge of technologies such as iOS, Android, Angular, and Java. Certified Scrum Master with Agile Coaching and Scaled Professional Scrum certifications. Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence, challenge and persuade varying seniority levels. Natural leader with motivational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a data-driven, adaptable approach. Additional information
