Lead Solution Architect Location: India/UK Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: 12+ years

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Solutions Architect to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of high-value, scalable solutions that align with business strategies. This leadership role involves setting architectural direction, mentoring team members, and ensuring the delivery of robust and innovative solutions across projects.

Requirements

Lead the development of comprehensive solution blueprints, ensuring alignment with business strategies and objectives. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the architecture team and cross-functional project teams. Define and enforce best practices, standards, and frameworks for solution architecture. Translate business requirements into high-level and detailed solution designs. Specify, design, and select appropriate technologies, including open-source, cloud-native, SaaS, and licensed software solutions. Assess pre-defined solution options and recommend optimal solutions based on technical and business needs. Ensure solutions adhere to organizational standards for security, data protection, compliance, and service quality. Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLDs), system architectures, and interface specifications. Play a pivotal role in project scoping, estimation, and high-level planning. Oversee the delivery lifecycle, providing ongoing technical guidance and ensuring successful implementation. Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices across projects and teams. Act as the primary architectural point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of technical solutions and trade-offs. Collaborate with business and technical teams to define requirements, assess risks, and identify opportunities for innovation. Required Skills and Qualifications

12+ years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Expertise in microservices architecture, API integration, and event-driven systems. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with databases (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and data integration tools. Deep understanding of TOGAF, Zachman, or similar architectural frameworks. Strong grasp of Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and ITIL practices. Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team-building abilities. Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a strong focus on problem-solving and delivering results. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar). TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification (preferred). Experience in DevSecOps and integrating security into the development lifecycle. Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and technologies. Background in designing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions.
