08.03.2025 Job Description: Join Our Team As a Lead Sourcing Specialist, you will manage the buying process for a given set of goods, applying sourcing policy and interfacing between suppliers and the entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Partner with the best The Lead Sourcing Specialist – Buying/Procurement will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role, you will use your experience or expertise to solve problems and develop and execute objectives with safe execution, which affects short-term and some long-term business goals in accordance with HSE procedures. As a Lead Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for: Leading and ensuring safe operation processes and encouraging all team members to adopt HSE excellence culture. Participating in HSE programs and proactively improving HSE culture at the site. Achieving the lowest possible cost for material while balancing optimum quality and schedule needs. Soliciting and evaluating proposals using appropriate negotiation, cost, and price analysis techniques; implementing purchase contracts following applicable regulations. Evaluating current and anticipated requirements, determining potential sources, obtaining bids, and planning programs to meet business needs. Providing coordination and leadership in procurement activities for assigned commodities. Being responsible for assigned commodities to meet the requirements of the business. Performing continual market analysis and monitoring supplier progress. Coordinating training of suppliers to accomplish business initiatives. Coordinating procurement of assigned commodities to meet the requirements of Baker Hughes. Coordinating and directing all required functions from initiation of a purchase intent to satisfactory delivery of materials or services. Ensuring on-time delivery of parts and supporting strategic supplier developments. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with proven years of experience in Sourcing), with additional proven years in Buying-Procurement. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
