Lead Sports Coach
Jumping Juniors is looking for an enthusiastic, fun, and reliable sports coach to deliver our football & rugby clubs to children aged between 2.5-5 years old in the East Sussex and Kent area.
In this role, we want you to deliver classes with high energy, excitement, and structure to ensure that the atmosphere is engaging to both children and parents! If you have a passion for helping children take their first steps into sport, then we would love to hear from you!
Main Responsibilities:
Providing engaging, fast-paced classes Ensuring the environment is safe for both children and parents Creating new games to ensure that classes are fun and exciting (guidance offered) Ensuring that the register has been completed Handing out stickers, medals, and sticker charts Speaking with parents about any queries they have Recording any incidents or injuries which occur Essential Attributes:
Minimum Level 2 sporting qualification Interest in football and rugby Experience working with young children Outstanding communication and listening skills Full UK Driving Licence as a car is essential Desirable Attributes:
Experience coaching a range of sports First aid trained Full DBS Additional Information:
This is a zero hours contract Bonus and incentives based on performance Holiday pay is inclusive of hourly rate Uniform and equipment will be provided Applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check (paid by Jumping Juniors) Potential opportunities for CPD training and additional work at future holiday clubs, primary school clubs, and weekend clubs. Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, and Surrounding Areas Working Hours:
Saturday and/or Sunday mornings with the potential of primary school work during the week. Job Types:
