The Role: We are seeking a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer to lead this career-defining project and drive the launch of their consultancy in the South Island. This role is ideal for someone with a strong network of local clients, a passion for growing and leading engineers, and a desire to influence the region's engineering landscape. Key Responsibilities

Lead and be involved in the design and monitoring of high-profile projects Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring exceptional service and long-term partnerships. Drive business growth through local networks and expand the regional project portfolio. Build, mentor, and lead a local engineering team while fostering a collaborative culture. Provide technical oversight and hands-on design expertise, ensuring practical, cost-effective solutions. About You

Bachelor's degree in structural engineering, with CPEng status and at least 5 years' NZ experience. Proven track record in large-scale residential and commercial projects. Strong connections within Christchurch or the wider South Island, with the ability to secure new work. Experience in design-and-build projects and team leadership. Excellent communication skills and a drive for innovation and value delivery. What's in It for You?
