The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading teams to develop feasible solutions within deadlines, costs, and quality standards. Additionally, you should possess the ability to simplify complex problems and prioritize design decisions effectively. Responsibilities

As a Lead Systems Engineer, you will take charge of the systems design activities throughout the engineering project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include: Defining technical solutions, ranging from requirements elicitation and decomposition to establishing architecture aligned with Operational Concepts and Solution Architecture. Managing and de-risking interface connections across functional chains and defining necessary interfaces for the solution and its elements. Involvement in upfront Integration, Validation, Verification, and Qualification (IVVQ) activities to support the IVVQ Manager. Leading design trade-offs to promote optimal designs and help identify risk areas during IVVQ and sell-off processes. Engaging in collaboration across all disciplines for comprehensive solution design. Description

This position will allow you to serve as the primary systems engineering interface to the Project Design Authority (PDA), ensuring overall system compliance with customer and product line requirements. As you navigate this role, you'll need to demonstrate a mastery of several co-engineering techniques and leverage multiple perspectives to address problems effectively. This position reports to the Discipline Manager for Systems Engineering, where you will be expected to foster a collaborative environment and align your work with Thales leadership behaviors.
