Your role: As our HR team continues to grow, we are adding a newly created role of Lead, Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the continuous and exciting growth goals of our fast-paced SaaS company. Your primary contribution will be to help drive the daily operations of Global Relay’s recruitment efforts and oversee the UK recruitment function from a line manager position. As someone who is committed to increasing employee growth and engagement, you use industry-proven best practices - with a bit of your own twist. You’re proactive, resourceful, and comfortable thinking outside of the box. Although you’re comfortable working as an individual team member, you like the idea of working as part of a highly collaborative team. Key responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of three Talent Acquisition Specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the HR Director and other senior leaders to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment plans. Recruitment Process Management: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to candidate onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience. Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the talent acquisition function and identify areas for improvement. Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process, ensuring a diverse pool of candidates for all positions. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to continuously improve the recruitment process. Recruitment Events: Manage the talent acquisition events, ensuring cost-effective recruitment strategies to elevate and attract potential candidates Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations. About you: 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proven ability to manage and mentor high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, HR standards, and employment regulations. Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse preferred) and advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Flexible and resourceful self-starter who thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments. Experience in the SaaS or high-tech industry is highly desirable. Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CIPD qualification is a plus.
