Leading and managing a small team and working with our team of programmers and artists to support the implementation of fresh and innovative visuals for our games. Maintaining a close working relationship with the management team, producers, leads, directors and other teams to raise project quality. Helping to bridge Art and Code departments with tools and workflows. Leading the way with new technologies and methods to advance Technical Art. Mentoring and assisting your colleagues to support their personal development. What we are looking for from a Third Kinder
You would: Have several years experience in managing Art pipelines and workflows. Share knowledge and recommend best practices across the team and business. Actively participate in the constant improvement of work methods and processes. Have the motivation and passion to keep up to date with industry developments and bring efficiencies and increased quality, whilst growing your skill set. Hold an understanding of development processes, project management, and agile methodologies. Show an ability to keep team members motivated and working efficiently and toward project goals. Create scripts and tools in Maya or other to help artists (Python, Mel etc.) Have experience with shader creation, optimisation and assist with game optimisation and framerates. Have experience in Unreal or other Engines. Have knowledge in using Particle Effects editors to create PFX and Rigging. 2 years + experience as a Lead Technical Artist working on video gaming titles. 5 years + experience in 3D packages for example; 3D Studio Max, Maya, IXSI, LightWave and ZBrush. Proficient in 2D authoring software for example; Quixel, Ndo, Substance Design, Substance Painter and Photoshop. Passionate about making games visuals and supporting our approach to emerging technologies and industry developments. Ambitious and motivated. Skills it would be great to have
