Lead Services Engineer

to join our team in Newcastle. If you're passionate about control systems, networking, and IoT, and have a knack for leadership and project management, this is your chance to make an impact! Role Overview:

As the Lead Services Engineer, you'll spearhead a team of service, project, and control systems engineers, driving excellence in project execution and client satisfaction. You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your field, ensuring that complex systems are designed, developed, and delivered to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership, coaching, and management to a diverse team of engineers. Your guidance will ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. Act as a crucial point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met while maintaining the highest level of technical support. Oversee the entire lifecycle of projects, from hardware architecture to control systems design, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to engineering standards. Develop and maintain complex systems, conduct user interface design reviews, and ensure all technical documentation is accurate and up to date. Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders, providing technical advice and ensuring alignment with Yokogawa’s Work/Health and Safety and Quality Assurance policies. What We’re Looking For: Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent). 5-10 years in the process control industry with extensive experience in leading teams and managing complex control systems. Experience or strong interest in Networking and IOT space. Proven leadership abilities, strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in engineering software, and excellent interpersonal communication.
