Full Time Our client - a small animal practice - are recruiting a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their talented team.
This is an exciting opportunity suited to a motivated and experienced vet. You will be leading a friendly team of two other veterinary surgeons, RVNs, student nurses and receptionists. Our client's newly refurbished practice facilities include digital x-ray, lab equipment, prep area and equipped theatre. You will be exposed to a varied and interesting case load in this clinic.
This role is full time, working a 4-day week with 1 in 6 weekends, giving you great work/life balance.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years UK small animal practice experience and be confident working sole charge occasionally. You must have a client-orientated approach and excellent communication skills, work to a high standard both medically and surgically, and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further.
Our client offers an excellent package with a competitive salary of up to £80,000 per annum including Private Medical Insurance from day one, Health cash plan from day one (covering dental, physio and optical services) with 24/7 Private GP Service, Quarterly Lead Vet Contribution Scheme with the potential to earn up to 20% on top of your salary, an additional ‘Day for You’ as a paid day’s leave for you to use as you wish, 33 days’ annual leave (including Bank Holidays) rising to 38 with length of service, Clinical CPD: £1,500 per year plus 3 days’ paid leave, Sabbatical based on length of service, VDS, RCVS and BVA fees paid, and plenty more.
