The successful candidate for this veterinary surgeon vacancy in Nottingham will enjoy a 4 day week, across a Monday to Friday rota with no weekends. In addition to a great rota, this vet vacancy commands a salary of up to £70,000.
Our client is looking for an experienced vet ready to take responsibility for a new practice, moulding it in whichever direction they like. This is a Lead Vet role in a new practice expected to grow quickly. Initially this would be a sole charge position supported by one RVN and one SVN. As well as growing the vet team, the nurse team is also expected to grow.
Built with expansion in mind, this new, purpose built practice has three consult rooms, separate cat and dog areas, and excellent clinical facilities to provide an excellent first opinion service. Equipped with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, full labs, and extensive pharmacy.
Candidates should be comfortable with all routine soft tissue procedures and medical cases. Ideally they will also be carrying out more complex procedures. As the Lead Vet, the successful candidate will also be happy to develop incoming less experienced vets and nurses.
The management and business aspects of the role will be supported in this role should these be new skills.
