Key Responsibilities: Lead in shaping the future of leadership and management programs. Engage with healthcare professionals, exchange best practices, and meaningfully impact patient care. Manage budget, ensuring resources are maximised for optimum results. Develop and implement strategies that embrace diversity and harness digital leadership skills. Empower individuals and nurture a team that thrives on continuous growth. Collaborate with clinical psychologists and other teams to ensure a consistent approach to Trust development interventions. Lead as an OD partner for a division, providing strategic guidance and support. Continuously evolve our leadership and management programs based on feedback and changing needs. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of an end-to-end pathway of Leadership & Management development offerings. Build effective partnerships for collaboration with members of BNSSG and across the Healthier Together network. Develop and implement an inclusive marketing strategy to promote development support. Maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment with organisational needs. Develop and evaluate bespoke interventions for specific teams or groups. Provide direction and support to a small in-house team and commission external consultants when needed. Person Specification
Education, Training and Work Experience
Educated to degree level with Post-Graduate Management qualification in Leadership or Management or Development. A coaching, mentoring or action learning qualification or relevant experience. Qualified to administer and interpret leadership/team diagnostic and 360 feedback tools. Work Experience
People Management experience with senior managers/leaders. Experience delivering leadership and talent interventions using an OD consultancy mindset. Experience in developing strategies, policies and processes that support organisational analysis and development. Experienced in designing, presenting and facilitating large groups. Experience of budget management. Experience of broadening participation in Leadership programmes. Up-to-date knowledge of the healthcare environment. Experience supporting a range of Organisational Development projects. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Effective Stakeholder management in a complex organisation. Expert knowledge of OD consultancy and designing interventions. Competence in IT systems (Office 365 suite, Excel, PowerPoint, etc). Knowledge of change management, organisational development, complexity, equality and diversity. Project Management Skills. Ability to coach and develop other Learning & Development professionals. Personal Qualities
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse and interpret information. Ability to use data to design and evaluate learning interventions. Ability to manage and prioritise own work. Role model leadership, championing a compassionate and inclusive culture. Ability to build the capability of others.
