We are Raft, an AI-driven start-up that automates operations for freight forwarding, a critical part of the global supply chain. We're transforming this $200B industry's heavily manual processes from the ground up. Our customers include several of the world's top 10 freight forwarders, and many more. We recently raised $15m from Bessemer Venture Partners (LinkedIn, Twilio, Shopify), Episode 1 (Zoopla, Betfair, Shazam) and Dynamo (Sennder, Stord). Our Founders
James and Nisarg started the company in 2017 after meeting at Entrepreneur First. James had previously spent 10 years creating and leading teams in financial services, commodities and trade, living the problem that Raft solves. Nisarg, a machine learning specialist and alumnus of both Cambridge and Microsoft Research, understood the solution. Both firmly felt that a product that could use the content of day-to-day enterprise activity to make workflows better would be incredibly powerful. Our Team
