Lead/Principal Piping Engineer About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a leading client seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee design and engineering activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering high-quality results. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage resources effectively to meet project requirements. Key Responsibilities Approve, check, and prepare design/engineering documentation, adhering to company processes and best practices. Ensure all designs meet relevant national and international codes, standards, and legislative requirements. Deliver engineering activities within budget and on schedule, maintaining the integrity of technical designs. Allocate work and supervise discipline personnel to meet project and proposal goals. Plan resources effectively, identifying and addressing changes as needed. Lead technical discussions with clients and participate in safety reviews and technical meetings. Provide expert advice on legislative requirements, technology trends, and industry developments. Foster collaboration across departments and ensure a seamless approach to achieving collective goals. Provide technical assistance for business development strategies, proposals, and initiatives. Promote a strong HSEQ culture, ensuring compliance with company values and standards. Qualifications: Degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Chartered Engineer status or equivalent (preferred). Demonstrable experience in engineering design, risk management, and project delivery. Proficiency in 3D CAD tools and design review processes. Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and legislative requirements. Leadership experience with the ability to allocate resources and manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
