To prepare and analyse specimens and maintain instruments in the Histology laboratory. Requirements: Certificate: Medical Technician HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field Required Experience: Experience within a pathology environment Knowledge: Meditech system Key Responsibilities: Clean and maintain laboratory to ensure a clean and safe work environment Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath Perform administration tasks to ensure effective administration systems in the laboratory Perform general laboratory tasks to ensure the effective functioning of the laboratory Prepare Cytology specimens to ensure efficient processing of specimens in the laboratory Receive specimens to ensure effective and efficient specimen flow in the laboratory Applicants must have a South African ID or a valid South African work permit.
