As a Learning and Development Co-ordinator, you will be a proactive member of the People & Culture team, providing comprehensive training to employees and volunteers during induction, probation and beyond. You’ll be driven, passionate about what you do and able to celebrate difference. You’ll be responsible for overseeing training across the Trust from our care services to our Empowering Employment programmes, liaising with the Care & Support Directorates to agree the annual plan of training and development activity. The role: Liaise with department managers to ensure training requirements are met and delivered within budget through an agreed annual training plan Ensure care and support training is in line with CQC Regulations Liaise with external training providers and colleges Access Skills for Care Fund, apprenticeship levy and other grants or funding to ensure best value Maintain accurate training records and ensure certificates are received and recorded Where qualified to do so, deliver training in key areas of specialism in adult / LD care and support, creating training materials and records to support the agreed training plan Provide training to employees during induction and probation, ensuring mandatory units are completed on a timely basis Identify individual and team training needs, including accessible training materials. What are we looking for? Excellent communication skills to build positive working relationships Good organisational and administration skills needed for planning, preparing and delivering training to multiple departments 2 years’ experience as a workplace trainer/coach is desirable Experience of Adult Social Care, Learning Disabilities and Autism an advantage Train the trainer or ILM Accredited training course desirable Creative and engaging style of training delivery using innovative communication tools Understanding individuals’ learning methods Full driving licence is required with access to a motorised vehicle to be able to attend off-site meetings and training events in our locations including Poole and Portsmouth What benefits can we offer?
