Learning and Discovery Officer (Maternity Cover) Salary: Negotiable Contract: Maternity Cover – up to 40 hours per week in peak season – Maternity period – February 2025 – October 2025 Closing Date for Applications - 3 January 2025 The Wildheart Trust is a young charity currently in a period of exciting change. We have big goals for the future, and some incredible ground-breaking projects underway. Our Learning & Discovery Team is at the forefront of this change, and we are excited now to be able to recruit Maternity Cover for the 2025 season. We are looking for an energetic, personable, outgoing and creative team member to help support our current learning and discovery team by hosting educational visits, workshops, and provisions as part of the department's diverse offering. This post would best suit an applicant looking for full-time hours with availability between February and October. This role will affirm the work of the Wildheart Trust by providing an educational experience for our 2025 cohort of schools and groups. Above all, candidates must be personable and approachable, ensuring a good day out for all. You must have exemplary communication skills and the ability to interact and engage with visitors of all ages. The right candidates will need a sound knowledge of animals, conservation, and the natural world. In return, we can offer you an exceptionally varied, unique role within a newly formed team.
