Working in the Learning & Development Team is a rewarding experience; we are a supportive team working in collaboration with many teams across the wider organisation. At Induction, we welcome colleagues to the organisation and continue to support staff to realise their potential through learning and development throughout their journey at HDFT. The key functions of the department are: To help staff realise their potential To identify and develop leadership capabilities within the organisation To ensure that all staff joining the organisation have an effective induction welcome To be responsible for developing, facilitating and implementing all aspects of education, training and organisational development for the Trust. Ensure that national and local initiatives are met, including employee development and mandatory training. Leading and supporting activities linked to the Trust's role as an educator and clinical placement provider for pre-registration and post-registration programmes. The successful applicant must have experience of working in either a customer service or office environment. Strong computer literacy, excellent communication skills, highly organised, and the ability to multi-task are also required key attributes. Whilst NHS experience is desirable, this is not essential.
