About the Role Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development, you’ll have the opportunity to shape an industry-leading learning and development programme that supports our teams to grow and thrive. You’ll take the lead on developing core skills training within the L&D function while also supporting wider people and development initiatives. This involves creating robust training programmes across various departments, working with both in-house and external experts to ensure our solutions align with our values. Collaborating closely with our resort teams and central L&D partners, you’ll ensure all training is fit for purpose and effectively embedded. This is an exciting time for the L&D team at Butlin’s. We’re embarking on a project to create a unique core skills training programme while identifying talent pipelines to unlock the incredible opportunities our business offers. Your work will include identifying development opportunities for the team, to support their career growth and ensure every team member feels enriched in their role. This will include working with apprenticeship providers and educational centres. This is a varied and rewarding role with the chance to contribute to some of our biggest L&D-focused initiatives. About You We’re looking for a passionate and experienced L&D professional who can work closely with subject matter experts to design and deliver impactful learning initiatives. You should have hands-on experience coaching and developing individuals and be confident in empowering leaders across the business to do the same with their teams. Effective communication is essential for successfully rolling out and embedding initiatives, so you’ll need to adapt your approach to engage stakeholders and teams at all levels. While experience in multi-site operations, the hospitality industry, or digital learning solutions is a bonus, it’s not essential. What matters most is your mindset, your desire to get stuck in, and your ability to learn and adapt quickly.
