Overview

To support the business in developing our People in all aspects including enhancing skills, knowledge, abilities through the implementation and coordination of various programs and formats.

How you'll make an impact

Talent Development: Work with the Head of L&D to support the wider strategy and offering for development in Gallagher. Collaborate with the People Team to identify training and development needs. Build rapport with the wider business and stakeholders to effectively deliver learning solutions. Drive positive change and bring new ideas for our employee experience initiatives. Leverage the information collated from PDPs to roll out topics and themes within the report. Design and support onboarding for new employees and those returning from a significant leave of absence. Follow sound instructional design principles to deliver creative solutions that actively engage our participants and business partners. Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner to support hiring in line with behaviours and values and support development of new starters or those promoted. Deliver assessment training and build into training for self-development across the division. Use HR data and information to build insight, support and develop content accordingly. Complete training needs analysis and consult with the business for the appropriate learning solution. Create training material. Attend team meetings to build the relationship within the team. Talent Management: Create and deliver bespoke training programmes. Design with leadership, management, business and personal progression and best practice in mind, the intention is to expand on the talents and skills across all employees at all levels within Gallagher. Partner with subject matter experts to transform their knowledge into digestible learning content. Actively promote internal training, alongside e-learn pathways (pre/post work after live training) and ensure employees are completing mandatory training to extend the L&D offering. Monitor and report on activities, costs, performance etc., as required. Work with L&D associates to design content and ensure consistency of content. Contribute to the L&D monthly reporting deck. Support onboarding and monthly inductions ensuring managers are supporting new employees. About You

Desired Skills & Experience Training, project management and/or process improvement certifications a plus. Deliver training confidentially on a range of topics from technical to personal skills. Prioritisation and multitasking, ensure we work proactively and rapidly. Works in a fast-paced, changing environment and successfully manages competing priorities. Prior success delivering (including facilitating) training solutions across all levels and functions. Independently manages multiple tasks and responsibilities. Excellent ability to effectively communicate with different audiences from Senior Executives, External Speakers and Partners to program participants in large groups as well as one-on-one interactions. Proficient (advanced preferred) with Microsoft Suite, LMS, SharePoint and Outlook. Demonstrates excellence in influencing, teamwork, project management, negotiation and leadership. Travel required and able to be flexible when required. Forward thinking, ensure we are working efficiently and providing solutions to better collaborate.
