40,000 - 45,000 per annum Are you a passionate and experienced manager looking for a new challenge? Do you have a strong understanding of learning disabilities and autism? We are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Disabilities Manager to join our team in West Bridgford, Nottingham. As the Learning Disabilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a residential home for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviours. You will work closely with a team of support staff to ensure the highest quality of care and support is provided to our residents. Your duties and tasks will include: Leading and managing a team of support staff, ensuring they are trained and motivated to provide person-centered care and support Developing and implementing care plans for each resident, in collaboration with their families and other healthcare professionals Managing the budget and resources of the residential home to ensure efficient and effective operations Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation, including CQC standards Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders Identifying and implementing improvements to enhance the quality of care and support provided The ideal person for this Learning Disabilities Manager position will have: Previous experience in a management position within a learning disabilities or autism setting Strong understanding of learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care We offer a competitive salary, ongoing training and development opportunities, and a supportive working environment.
