Make a Difference in Mental Health Care - Learning Disability Nurse Positions Available! Are you a Registered Learning Disability Nurse (LD) looking for a dynamic and rewarding career? We are a leading NHS Framework supply agency searching for compassionate and qualified Learning Disability Nurses to join our team! We are looking for Band 6 Learning Disability Nurses for Community Specialist Health in Billericay, Essex starting ASAP for 20 hours a week for 12 weeks, between Mon-Fri 9-5. The nurse will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing support to those people with learning disabilities with complex physical health needs, challenging behaviour, and complex mental health. The role is to support these people to remain in the community accessing appropriate health care. This also includes the uptake of annual health checks, support of end-of-life planning, and review of DNACPR, as well as supporting with frailty. The person will need good networking and communication skills and be prepared to work autonomously. This is a community-based role. Do you have the right to work in the UK?
