The position is to start ASAP. The role as a Learning Mentor: Play a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment while ensuring that all students receive the individualised guidance they need to thrive in the classroom. Work closely with students aged 4-16. Engage with students and help the class teacher deliver tailored support based on their individual learning requirements. Inspire and motivate students while building their confidence. Collaborate with the class teacher to implement strategies and interventions that promote academic growth and confidence. Benefit from a supportive team of staff and opportunities to shadow experienced professionals. The successful Learning Mentor: Have a passion and eagerness to make a difference. Be compassionate and empathetic, yet confident in managing challenging behaviour. Have some experience working with children. Experience with children who have additional needs or diagnoses such as Autism or ADHD is an advantage.
