We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Learning Facilitator Coordinator to lead and manage a team of Learning Facilitators within our prison education programme. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the day-to-day coordination of enrichment sessions, develop engaging learning content, manage timetables, and ensure that educational support is delivered effectively across various classes. You will also directly facilitate at least two sessions per week, contributing actively to the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of Learning Facilitators, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality educational delivery.

Oversee the scheduling and timetabling of Learning Facilitators to ensure adequate coverage for all classes and sessions.

Develop and curate engaging learning content tailored to the diverse needs of prisoners across a range of subjects.

Facilitate at least two learning sessions per week, modelling best practices in education delivery.

Collaborate with educators, prison staff, and stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of the learning facilitator team.

Monitor and assess the quality of learning facilitation, providing feedback and conducting regular reviews.

Support evening and weekend educational programmes as needed to ensure continuous engagement.

Track attendance, participation, and learner progress, producing regular reports to evaluate the programmes impact.

Address challenges and barriers to learning creatively, continuously improving educational delivery.

Requirements:

A Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.

Experience in education facilitation or coordination is desirable.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Proven experience in leading a team and the ability to motivate others.
