Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: Romford, Essex Salary: Are you on the lookout for a new opportunity as a SEND Learning Support Assistant based in the Romford area? Well, look no further. We are looking for an experienced special needs Learning Support Assistant for various primary schools in Romford. We are seeking someone who is comfortable and experienced working with a variety of SEN needs. We are looking for someone who provides a happy environment for all, helping children to achieve to the best of their ability and someone who can thrive in a creative environment. Job Duties: Support:

Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN in a classroom setting. Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for students' individual needs. Use effective approaches:

Monitor and supervise students during class activities, helping them understand instructions and tasks. Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour where needed, using positive reinforcement and behaviour management techniques. Nurture positive relationships:

Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the students' education, while also maintaining detailed records for the child's progress. Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, so this can help the child integrate into school life more easily. This role will be hands-on, rewarding and make a difference every day. If you are someone who can provide patience, empathy and support for SEN students, then you'll be a great fit! Requirements: Right to work in the UK. Valid DBS check or willingness to apply for one. Prior experience working with students with special educational needs. Understanding of different learning styles with the ability to adapt teaching methods where needed. Patience and empathy when working with students.
