£80 - £110 per day Our client is an excellent school providing education to students across the primary & secondary phases. The school benefits from new buildings, great colleagues, and excellent facilities for both staff & students. This is a highly desirable school to work at, and students have good standards of attainment & behaviour. The school has recently shown improvement through student attainment, effective student engagement from the teaching team, and the manner in which children are supported. The staff team is motivated, collaborative, and welcoming, making this school a great place to work. They have recently joined a new trust that is a forward-thinking academy trust supporting schools across a wide area of the South West. This role is to further support both students and staff at the school. The school is seeking a capable support person to assist the large number of EAL students who are Portuguese speaking, helping them gain access to the learning activities. You'll need to have a high standard of spoken Portuguese and good written Portuguese competency. This role is as much about inspiring the learners as it is about effectively communicating with and delivering the lessons. This role will be suitable for someone who has previous experience of leading and delivering learning, likely: An overseas qualified teacher (with or without QTS/QTLS) An HLTA An experienced Learning Support Assistant As Elementa is the recruiting partner, all applicants still being considered for the role after pre-screening will be required to undergo the school's vetting & compliance process.
